Marina Yates Table Lamp November 03rd, 2018 - 06:24:48
This is a steampunk desk lamp with a little bit of a modern twist from singlet. This is the Bluetooth-enabled pulse. Solo light bulb that I can control with my smartphone the weight, not just that. It's also got a JBL speaker inside one of the fun things about this project is going to the plumbing department of the hardware, store and experimenting with a bunch of different pipe fittings, the great opportunity for you to get as creative as you can.
These are all galvanized pipe fittings that screw together and I spent about an hour at the hardware store just laying these out on the floor in different configurations. Until I came across something I like, I'm going to start with the base and work my way up, and I need to thread this lamp cord through as I go or I'll, never be able to get it through all the bends. I think it'd be really cool to use this valve as a dimmer switch, but you can't use dimmers with the singlet bulbs. So in this case it's just purely decorative, but I think it looks cool.
I have this board from an old wine bottle. Crate that'll make a perfect base for this lamp. Using the singlet pulse, light bulb. Speaker is super easy. You just screw it in, like any other light bulb. When you turn it on you'll, hear a sound, then you'll pair it to your smartphone using Bluetooth. Then, once you download the single app you're good to go, you could stream music from spottily, iTunes, podcasts or anything else for the lamp I'm using the pulse solo, which is great for small spaces such as a dorm room or even your office. But what's really cool is a whole house, music and lighting system.
