Christi Mccoy Table Lamp November 08th, 2018 - 07:08:40
This chandelier and a dimmer. One is measuring your space. You're gonna want to start by measuring the table. That's going underneath your new chandelier. One thing to take note of is to pick a chandelier with sizing, that's no more than a foot narrower than the overall width of your table. This is really just gonna make space feel to scale as far as the height to hang it below the ceiling. It's really more about measuring the height above the table for this room.
This is approximately an 8-foot ceiling, so a measurement of thirty to thirty. Four inches above table height is perfect. Now that you've got the proper measurements for your chandelier, it's time to go shopping, wait, there has a ton of options and you can really find one that becomes the focal point of your space. I chose this one because the industrial look brings to this dining room. You're gonna want to start by turning off the power to the chandelier. Now, don't just do this at the switch, make sure you're turning off the power in the breaker box to make sure that there's not an accident.
Now you're ready to take down the old fixture every chain has split in the link and you simply grab it. Bend it and slip it off now you're ready to hang the chandelier. This particular model is pretty light, so I'll be able to do it myself, but for larger models. You'll definitely want to get a friend to hold the weight. While you make your connection, attach the mounting plate, connect your wires and finally secure the canopy before we turn the power back on. I'm gon na take this opportunity to switch out the old switch and upgrade it to a dimmer switch.
