Where it's operational and have glass placed on either side, because the backside is metal and it's a different type of metal, that's meant to sort of reflect even more light out, which is the purpose of these things. So what Tony did is he actually measured? The glass. And on the sides, what we did is we took the broken pieces of beveled glass out and eventually, what we'll do is take this beveled glass out, because we can't match it. And so on the sides. What we have here is a piece that is 5 inches and 7/8 in size square. It's an 1/8 of inch piece of glass here on the side and the same over here on this side, you can see here.
he only difference is that it's not beveled. So here is where we were having the problem with the hinged door. You can see the hinged remained, but the exterior framing for the hinge was gone., So I mean, after all, it was only 15 bucks. What do you expect? So? The idea here is to simply take this piece of glass, again, 5 inches square --, 5, 7/8, inches square, take it and I'm just on a take some epoxy and what I'm on a do is I'm on a mix this epoxy fifty-fifty–epoxy with hardener. I got ta little stick here and I'm on a mix this all together. Mix that up–there we go. And then I'm on a take this and just get a little bit on the end of this spatula-like tool.
And then what I wan a do is I just wan a take it - and I wan a slide it right down in this wedge here right along in there, because that's where that piece of glass needs to be held..This stuff is really strong. So once this piece of glass goes in here. Let's get a little more. So here's the piece of glass–I'm on a slide it back into this slot. Here now with the epoxy and I'm on a make sure that it closes. From this hinged front door, we'll be able to easily remove the light bulbs and replace them.
