an Art Deco lamp. Look probably dates from the 1920s or 30s. I would say it is missing some of the red on the outside of the glass, but I've never seen one like it. I just think it'd look pretty neat all fixed up, but the first thing I'm going to take it completely apart and do away with this wire. This is the old fabric covered wire or cloth covered wire. I don't know when they stopped using us on Lancer appliances.
I think if I had to guess, probably be like the 50's right around there - maybe the 60s, then they started using the plastic or the vinyl. And to me I hate coming across a nice old piece and somebody's changed the old fabric wire out to the vinyl. It just really detracts from the look, so what I did, I guess, a new wire fabric covered wire got this from sundial calm and you can see it's it's. A world of difference between the two comes in all different colors.
This is the gold. I look like this might have been gold at one time. You should make it look pretty good one of the important things to do when you get some replacement wires to measure it first to make sure that it will fit it into the opening there. I measured s6e exact same size as this. This is a two-wire the same as the replacements to a wire, so should slide in here nice and easy.
